The Man

In the past week, I have supposedly sold $230 worth of shit via eBay. The asshole that bid $200 on a doll never paid, it wound up being cancelled and I relisted immediately rather than play more games with the next two bidders.

The other two that won dolls last week did pay - both were under $20. One tanked my shipping metrics by paying, then telling me they were leaving town and not to ship until Wednesday. One just paid, no BS no instructions, just mercifully paid.

Suddenly, because they think I have $200 coming, eBay then charges me for a $69 international shipping label from last month. You know what I've got to show for $230 worth of sales? -$20.13. lol. Good ol' eBay.

Today, they helped themselves to $1.00 I supposedly owed, despite last week threatening to restrict my account over $19, that they acted like they could not just take...lol. This bullshit is stupid and annoying. I don't like weird threats to take away my selling privileges over something they can just take care of themselves. I gave them the access to that account for that very reason - why can't they just shut up and take the fuckin' fees? They took the $1 no problem.

Meanwhile, I left my Etsy shop open during the "strike" and made $200 that I actually got paid. Man, if it was not for those stupid offsite ads, I would just move everything to Etsy. Sane people that pay for shit and lower fees for the most part. I've only had two nutcases in the last 11 years that I've been there. The Patty O'Green doll lady who was pissed about getting a refund instead of getting a doll, and the weirdo that thought I switched heads on ponies.

I signed that petition for one reason and one only - Offsite Ads. I hate them. Of course, that's my nature anyway, being forced into something against my will has always rankled me.

The amount of times I took off from school and daycare - my Ma could tell you that...I don't like "The Man" telling me what I can and cannot do.

She's Like The Wind

Ol' Judy's negative disappeared like a fart in the wind this morning - RIP. 😂

I go back to her stupid original message:

I have been a seller as well.

If she was a seller that knew her shit, then she would have known not to threaten me in messages with negative feedback for "financial compensation". Dumbass. First rule of trying to get a discount, bitch, don't threaten the seller's feedback. It's called feedback extortion and is one of the reasons that eBay will remove a negative. I wasn't even worried.

I wasn't worried about her returning it either, because if it did not come back in the same condition, well, TRS can deduct up to 50% . That would have covered the shipping at least one way and then I would have just relisted what was left of it, lol. Either way, she was screwed on this deal and I knew I had her dead to rights. I think she let the low feedback fool her. I've been around the block more than once and I smell fishing for a discount verbiage a mile away. It always has the same tone. But, what it basically boiled down to was: "You weren't on the ball. In one picture you were stupid enough to let the skirt cover the hand so I could try and lie about damage to get a discount".

Ol' Judy MacAsshole

So much for not being able to leave negative feedback for 7 days if you're Top Rated. If that is true, the bitch should not have been able to pull this shit for 5 more days.

In any case, feedback extortionist extraordinaire Judy left me a negative. I immediately reported her for false claims and then messaged eBay for business to have the feedback removed. If they do not remove it, I will copy and paste her original complaint so other people can see she's a bullshit artist and an extortionist.

In her negative, she gives herself away - She contradicts which hand is damaged.

"Very disappointed in the condition of the doll. 4 fingers on her right hand were broken off at an angle which they seller did not mention in description. The photos did not show the damage. In one photo the hand was hidden in the skirt, and in the other it was photographed from the top so that is just looked like the tips were scuffed, not missing. The seller offered to take the doll back, but I declined. I love the doll - just disappointed in the seller's neglect to mention the condition."

Her original complaint about the left hand may have had had a tiny TINY sliver of merit - the left hand did have paint missing (but it was shown clearly), the hand she's talking about now had 0 damage - the middle, ring and pinky fingers are bent down like the doll is making a fist with the index finger out slightly more than the rest. Again, I am familiar with the arms/hands themselves in particular, having come from another doll of mine, I remember clearly what condition they were in, and how they were posed.

The Rise Of The Deadbeat Bidder/MacAsshole Buyer

I've had this antique doll up for 5 days. I had over 25 watchers. 3 days before it ended, it got a bid. By the time it ended there were 4 different bidders on it and it nearly doubled in price.

Of course, the one that won - registered that same day, actively outbid others, won, and has not paid.

I feel like ebay needs to give sellers an option to not accept bids from some bidders, you know like 0 feedback deadbeats.

I know damned well if I make an offer to the second bidder, this arsehole will suddenly pay on the 4th and final day and complain, but if I don't, I get to wait 4 days twiddling my thumbs and possibly get less for the doll when I am forced to relist it.

Also, yesterday a doll was delivered. Crickets yesterday. Today I get this:

I received the doll yesterday. In reviewing your on-line description, no mention was made of all the fingers on her left hand being broken off at an angle. I also reviewed the photos, and because of the way she is positioned, it just looks like some minor scuffing on the finger tips, not the extent of the damage actually there. I am contacting you prior to leaving feedback because I have been a seller as well. If you can offer some financial compensation for the damage I will not leave a negative feedback. Please let me know your decision. Thank you.

I want to say "Eat my whole ass, Judy, eat it ALLLLLLLL" I like the nice touch how she squarely lays the entire blame on me with the "your on-line description" and "no mention was made".

In the description I say "Wear consistent with age" - the doll is over 100 years old. I also show the doll's fingertips very clearly in at least one photo, there is no funny angle - it shows the fucking fingers, ALL of them. There is paint missing off of the ends of the fingers on one hand, yes, but not actual damage. I was the asshole that PUT those fucking arms on, lady, because she was missing an arm when I bought her (the one that was left had ACTUAL damage - an index finger was missing totally). The arms in question came off of one of my other dolls. I am very familiar with what they looked like.

Customer service persona engage! I respond: "Please return the doll for a full refund"

Ol' MacAsshole had a farm, Judy. Now if you really ARE a seller, then you should know that once a negative is threatened to get a partial refund, then the negative that you leave will be removed because you made a threat.

I will immediately have it removed using her own words against her. Joke's on you, bitch.

I wait patiently for her lame reply and while waiting in line at Wally World pharmacy with my daughter. There it is. I could almost hear angels singing...LOL...I can't wait for her to leave that fuckin' feedback. You see, I knew she would keep it. I knew this because she was fishing for a discount. The verbiage is almost always identical when they pull this shit: "YOU missed this" This is YOUR fault" and then they ask for "compensation" of some sort, because they are the poor, innocent "victim".

Her reply:
Thank you, but I wish to keep her - I have already washed and ironed her clothes and re-strung her.  I will just note my concerns in the feedback.  Thank you for getting back to me.

Now if that doll was such a piece of shit that she complained and wanted a refund, then why, pray tell, would she spend time restringing it, and washing its clothes? She had to know that one of the refund options was going to be to return it. I am willing to bet she hasn't done shit to it.

To top this mountain of utter bullshit off, yesterday ebay charged me $69.00 for an international label for a doll I sold last month. So, the 2 other dolls I sold did not cover that label fee and since we established that I am now dealing with a deadbeat, I was short $19 of the $69.00. They wasted no time trying to "restrict" my selling account over less than $20 that they HAVE FUCKING ACCESS TO! I have a card and a bank account on file - they used to never have trouble taking their money and tripping off an overdraft back before MP but now apparently they cant?! SMH.

High Horsey

OMFG. I think I've seen the dumbest post EVER on the cheerleader board. It's funny that this moron is willing to throw away nearly $400 over supposed "ethics".

She's pissed that her buyer used her pictures and is reselling the same item before she even shipped it. She's combative with every person who replies to her and keep repeating shit about her "morals" and "ethics".  People in the group are like "Uhh, that's allowed you know" and she's all like:

I don't give a damn if the person who bought it sells it for a million dollars. To those who think this is wasted energy, I just refunded $375.00. It's not about the money, it's about principle and ethics. So thankful my energy is spent on ethics. ðŸ™‚

She spent the next several posts bragging about being a professional photographer, being an Amazon associate and being on the "Governor's Task Force" and writing two bills for the state of Oklahoma. She argued with literally anyone and everyone touting her "morals and ethics" until the head cheerleader gave her the big boot into outer fucking space where she belonged.

Never have I agreed with people so hard in that group...lol. She reminded me of a relative who continually low-key brags about their achievements all day every day on Facebook.

A Wrinkle In Petty

Yesterday I received one of the most petty complaints I've ever received about anything I've sold and that is saying something.

Halfway around the world, Ukrainians are burying people in mass graves, inflation is sucking up every last dollar, people are having a hard time with day to day expenses in this country alone and I get this message on Etsy:

"was not the dress pictured. One of the orange ribbons is so terribly bent & twisted."

She paid $5 and change for the dress. It has two orange bow-ties on the waist - one is bent. Does she not know how to iron? Not have an iron? Can't put a couple of drops of water on it and press the wrinkled part down with her finger or use a hairdryer on it for a few seconds? WTF? She left me 4 stars and then bitched about this - she doesn't even say whether she wants anything or not, just bitching.

This Is The Pits

I have a tiny weird tramp art piece for sale that was in with a lot of smalls or jewelry I bought at an auction years back. I know jack shit about it, it's just an interesting little piece.

Yesterday I get a message:

"Can you tell me where it came from and what is it's meaning? Thank you"

WTF? I dunno man. I'm just selling it. I answer where I think I got it. I could be entirely wrong because I travel to other states and used to buy a lot of weird flats full of shit. And meaning? Who the fuck knows...maybe homeless Joe was bored that day.

Then I get this:

"Have any pieces broken or is it entirely intact?"

It's fuckin' $5 and I took pictures from a few angles - if you cannot tell from the picture that it is indeed, fine, then you need to piss off. I am not into answering 6,000 stupid questions to make what will boil down to $3 and change after all is said and done. I don't know why, but the questions irritate me.

I'm in the process of adopting a cat from a kill-shelter - he had 24 hours to live and in order to save him I had to push through a mountain of paperwork and now have been having back and forth conversations with a rescue and a foster, have 50 million other things going on, and I just don't have the time for bullshit this week.

The cat is priority #1. If this was an item I was selling for $50 and up, you bet I'd answer all and any questions, but the fact that it is under $10 and this person is already asking nitpicky shit raises red flags and annoys the shit out of me. If you don't have time to look at the fuckin' pictures, then I don't have time to answer you.

A Quiet Place

Ebay had been quiet as of late. No idiots, no returns, no complaints. This past couple of months, shit has been ramping up.  First was a Ba...
