Different Kind Of Pain - Lamenting the Loss Of 3 Day Auctions

So there's a new kind o' deadbeat in ol' ebay town these days.

These deadbeats take a page from Etsy buyers in that they bid early, win, and when they win (5-fucking-days-later), they cancel the order. I left Etsy because I was tired of being jerked around by people all the time. I would look shit up, tweak a write-up, change shipping costs only to have the inquisitor disappear on me. Then there was the raging bitch who could not get over my losing a $8 Patty O Green doll even though she was refunded in full.

I blame this new disappearing act shit on ebay's 5 days or you'll pay policy. A person bids, decides after several days that:

A. They don't really want it.
B. They really wanted it, but now, and found it elsewhere sooner.

This being forced into 5 day auctions thing continues to hit me right in the purse. If my stuff sold for consistent amounts I would just use buy it now, but as it can go all over the map, I don't want to leave money on the table. I miss 3 day auctions. I wish they would just do away with the 50 freebies and just charge .30 for the 3 day duration again. I would rather pay up for 50 auctions at .30 that are over with in a reasonable amount of time than have freebies that constantly go south on me.

Not Friendly

Me? NOT FRIENDLY? ahahahahaha

When it comes to money, no. I am definitely not friendly, asshole. Guy buys Barbie on 18th. UPI opened on 20th. Today I get:

"Hi please can you explain to me why you open a dispote to ebay for payment not recieved? there was no pay date in your description and in any case you could also inform me before opening a dispute. I would have paid for your item by Friday. I do not look it a very friendly behavior, sorry."

Asshole, "not friendly" is buying a fucking item and wasting someone's time by dicking around waiting to pay a week after you won.

I simply reply: "It's automated"

Not going to dignify his complaint with a detailed "explanation". He's wasted enough of my time. When you bid, PAY FOR YOUR SHIT and things like this won't happen.

I Want My Fuckin Dress

Just got off the crazy train with another doll person. Ebay estimated her fucking doll dress to arrive on September 14. Problem was, she bought it at the end of the week and I mailed on the 12th, which was Monday. When the 14th rolled around, the bitch opened a case.

It went something like this:

Impatience:
Hi. This item has not been delivered, and most recent tracking shows it still somewhere out of my state? Please let me know the status. Thank you.

Me:
(Thoroughly pissed that a case has been opened)   I don't run the postal service. Item has been mailed and is en route still.

Impatience:
No, you don't run postal service. But you allegedly run your eBay business and I guess acting like a jerk is the best you can do. Thanks

Me:
I don't know what you expected me to do? I already sent it. All I can do is tell you the same thing that tracking tells you, there is no way for me to know any more. If that's being a "jerk" then I guess I am one.

Impatience:
I'm sorry I said that, I'm just anxious because it was supposed to be here by the 14th. Tracking has not been updated since 9/12. If it does not arrive tomorrow, can you please check on it through your free shipping program tracking?

Me:
I have never heard of that tracking program. I sent it free on my own accord. If something costs $3 or less to send, I will generally just pay for it on my own and offer free shipping. It cost me around $3.00 to send the dress. It was sent via first class mail, which doesn't always update at every point in travel and unfortunately can be a bit slow. This is why I hate that ebay puts shipping estimates on the auctions. It scares buyers when the item doesn't always arrive when ebay says it will even though it was sent within the timeframe required by them. I got my eye on the tracking on this one now. If it takes much longer, I can try a USPS inquiry.

The fucking thing was delivered on the 17th. She says this:
Hi. Yes, I see it shows delivered at 12:07 pm. Strange because it is not yet noon here! It was delivered to our office, so we won't be able to check until Monday. I'm sure it's there, but I will wait until Monday to close the inquiry. Thanks for your help and cooperation.

In such a fucking hurry that you held my money hostage for several days with your "case", but you cannot be bothered to go to the "office" to pick the damned thing up when it's delivered. *headdesk*

She went and got it a few days later and left me feedback and I got the fucking money. But this was all an unnecessary headache caused by ebay's stupid fucking "estimate" The whole time you could see on tracking that the fucking thing had been mailed and was on the move. I don't understand people.

Resale Is a Bitch

Summer is the worst time for resale. In June and July prices tank, never to recover until fall. During this time, there will always be whiners and scammers.

I have a booth at Bonanza. My sales are so lackluster that I actually forgot I had the booth and never use the paypal address associated with said booth anymore.

I was sifting through my Yahoo mail that I check once a month or so for a bill from my trash pickup and saw "You made a sale at Bonanza" This sale was 4 days before I actually saw the e-mail...I messaged the buyer said "Never saw e-mail, etc etc. Will send tomorrow".

That night, my father-in-law died. Long story short, because of all the goings on, I forgot all about the $4.00 pony. Of course she complained to Bonanza, and now I have to go to the fucking library in order to refund her, since I don't want cookies from the paypal accounts mixing.

I put the damned troublesome booth "on vacation" Frig that headache. I am not going upstairs in 90+ degree humid weather to look for a pony I put away last year for a lousy $1.00 or $2.00 profit.

In the meantime I list on ebay. I randomly get a message one day:

"Hello! Please go ahead and leave me positive feedback for my prompt payment regarding this doll case. I paid for it immediately going on a month and a half ago. If you wait another week or so (total 45 days) the item will disappear from your list and you won't be able to leave feedback at all. I left you positive feedback right after it arrived. Thank you! I appreciate it!"
Well, thanks for ordering me me to leave you feedback, bitch. You may have paid for it immediately, but that doesn't always make for a good buyer. Good buyers shut their damned mouths and enjoy their merchandise. Good buyers don't issue orders. I sent her a terse e-mail saying that we had just lost my father-in-law and that "Sorry, I wasn't exactly focused on ebay. I will leave it tomorrow" and I did. I hate people.

Today I got an e-mail saying, quite ambiguously, "I am sorry. I did not know there wasn't a belt" Afterward, I check my e-mail and see that someone had bid and retracted on a doll. I said in line 2 of the description: "The belt is missing"

Also this morning, I got another message from someone speaking broken English asking me to "sell the doll outside of the auction" Why can't these assholes wait the 4 days til the auction ends? Yes, your life will end if you cannot buy it now. I am suspecting that she thinks she can buy it for the start price. Not.Going.To.Happen.

Andrey The Extortionist

I sold a fancy clock awhile ago. Said buyer says "pack carefully" and claims breakage on previous clocks. This screams red flags, but I send the clock anyway.

3 days later, he sends me a message bitching that a 1" piece of wood was missing off of the corner of the clock floor (Underneath. It cannot be seen unless you pick up the 20 pound clock and look), then bitches that the movement doesn't fit. He obviously looked hard to come up with complaints, though one was actually mentioned in the listing. I had said the movement didn't fit.

He demands $45 back. I tell him to return it, and ignore him for a few days. He again demands $45 citing all the work he was going to need to do. Fuck you, asshole. That clock needed nothing but a new movement and front door, I did all the cosmetic grunt work. It spent 2 weeks in an electrolysis bath, I sanded it, finished it with steel wool, painted it with 4 coats of paint. Rebronzed the accents. It was set up to be a showpiece. A person could sell the movement that was in it to buy the right one, which was why I included it. I was just fudging it using that movement for myself, because it was supposed to be MY clock and I didn't care. I only sold it because I was really short on cash that week and I needed to pay bills. Never again!

The last clock such as the one I sold him went for $499. He paid $150. In my description I mentioned that the clock had been a project that wasn't finished. I report him and block him and send him the $45 to make him fuck off.

Meanwhile, I look at his feedback. Another seller mentioned he demanded money back. He also apparently buys these clocks cheap, pairs them with candlesticks, takes a fancy-looking picture and then resells them for double or triple what they cost him. I e-mail another seller that sold him the same clock the day after he bought mine and apparently this is a habit. He tries to keep his costs as low as possible so he can have a bigger profit margin, so he extorts sellers for a discount.

Crazy Gary

Got this message today:

"got well packed but broken glass last week, thanks, gary"

This was a question asked on a pair of candlesticks. I have never sold to this guy, nor have I ever heard of him until today. I looked at his feedback left for others. Numerous complaints and thanks for the refund.

Blocked.

I Hate People. Part 1,057

Last week I sold 3 ponies to one guy and 2 ponies to one girl on facebook. I had two oatmeal boxes that would fit the bill for 1st class shipping the ponies. I mixed the two boxes up.

I contact both and tell them. I send them both money so that they could trade the ponies and each get the correct ones.

That was my first mistake. Trusting pony people to do the right thing. He immediately "went somewhere" and says "It's too long of a wait at the PO, I'll do it later" I should have sent his ass a shipping label instead of money so he could throw it in his mailbox, which would have circumvented the post office excuse.

She does everything through fucking snail mail. I had to send her the cash. It took several days to arrive. She got it, but is now using an excuse not to send him his fucking ponies.

ALL YOU HAVE TO DO IS FUCKING TRADE! I paid you for it! Apparently I should have demanded they send them back to me, but then I would have had to pay shipping twice on each one. My bad for thinking that those two numb nuts would do the right thing.

Boxing Day

So...I decided to step out of the box, and sell a few cheap things. $10.50 and $8.50. Everything else I sold that week went for $40 and up. Guess which two had cases filed on them?

NO MORE under $10 auctions. I am sick and tired of cheap, complaining fucks! Anytime I sell anything for around or under $10, someone bitches, and I swear it is to try and get freebies. It's fucking flea market/yard sale season. You want something cheap? Go to the fucking fleamarket!

And the Oscar Goes To...

Hello:

I have returned your item. So you can resell this again. I buy items to fix up. But I had my mother pass and I do not feel this is a good time. I really enjoy working on the outfits. I am sorry because this was completely unforeseen.

Sorry.
This was a $10.00 Barbie dress. Now they are paying $2.50 to ship it back. WHYYYYY would you waste money sending something back that was $10.00 to begin with? I am sure as fuck not refunding shipping. So you're out $5.00. Why would you not just resell it yourself? All I have to say is:

Please Don't

I was researching a bowl today. I came across this long-winded annoyance of a description. If you are an ebay seller, this would be a don't. Just fucking photograph the item clearly, describe the item, and make sure you disclose any flaws you see. That's all.

I love how she:
A. Buried the plagiarized(!) description in the middle of words words words.
B. Used someone else's description.
C. Talked about how she runs shit through the dishwasher. (with antique stoneware, that'd be a no).
D. Kinda whined about the cost of packing materials they are "quite expensive"...but she doesn't charge for them. OMFG, what a saint! I must buy NOW!

o    I do combine ship (as long as one item is not going to break another), but please wait for an invoice…DO NOT PAY.

o    The more listings you purchase IN ONE DAY, the more you $ave on shipping. (EBAY RATES SELLERS HIGHER IF THEY SAY & IF THEY SHIP IN ONE DAY.)

o    If the shopping cart does not work properly, I will refund appropriate amount for combined shipping.

o    I do not charge a handling fee even though peanuts, 2 sizes of bubble wrap, gathering Styrofoam from businesses, ink, paper, etc. are quite expensive.

o    Condition:  (See condition/cleaning/safety below.) Good to Excellent for age.  I PURCHASED IT FROM AN EBAY SELLER WITH THE DESCRIPTION THAT I AM GIVING YOU WHICH INCLUDED HERE & CONDITION/CLEANING/SAFETY BELOW.  Also using information from current, experienced sellers of antiques, etc.  "Beautiful early 15" Yellow ware 3 stripe bowl.  There are 12 pictures for you to view so that you can see all of the bowl.  These early bowls are very eye appealing and display beautifully.  They can be used as well.  This one has all the tell tale signs of being an early one as well as hand made with its three marks on the inside where the kiln stand was placed while being fired and no seams from a mold.  Not many production issues with this one either.  There are some glaze pops and hair lines but nothing real noticeable or problematic.  Has very nice clean design lines that many others don't have.   Thick and two narrow brown stripes."

o    Please see photos.  I DON’T KNOW TOO MUCH ABOUT ANTIQUES, BUT IF I LIKED THEM, I BOUGHT THEM.  BUT NOW I AM MOVING AND I DON’T HAVE ROOM (see last photo(s) FOR ALL THAT I PURCHASED.  SO IF YOU SEE ANY ERRORS IN MY LISTING, PLEASE FEEL FREE TO LET ME KNOW….ESPECIALLY BEFORE YOU MAKE A PURCHASE.  I did download the partial descriptions when I purchased them on ebay.

o    This price is for set of 1 bowl....Antique 15" Brown 3 stripe yellow ware pottery mixing bowl ONLY.  INSURANCE, TRACKING, & SAFE PACKING WILL BE PROVIDED.

o    Approximate overall measurement:   15.5" X 7.5"

Thank You for Looking and Happy Bidding!!!

CONDITION/CLEANING/SAFETY

o    I purchased all of these items on my mom's ebay account before I got my own ebay account from a seller that purchased the items from Estate Sales and Auctions.  So I am going to use their statement pertaining to the antiques and vintage pieces.  “Items are described as accurately as possible.  However, I do not pretend to be an expert and each item should be considered “AS IS” with no guarantees.  Given the nature and uniqueness of many of the items, all sales should be considered final.  If you have any questions prior to the end of the sale, please message me and I will do my best to respond.”

o    This item is in very good condition overall! It is not without some condition issues, but considering its age it should be expected.  Please understand before you buy that this is antique stoneware, and was made in a very primitive manor. They were never perfect even when first made, and these flaws are what makes each and every piece unique. Now combine the fact that most pieces are over 100 years old, being made in the late 1800's to early 1900's flaws should be expected.

o    PLEASE LOOK AT ALL IMAGES AS THEY ARE A PART OF THE DESCRIPTION.

o    Additional photos can be sent to your personal email address.  (Light areas may = bad photography.)

o    Imperfections may be missed.  See photos.  I, as a seller, & you, as a collector of pottery/stoneware, etc. know that no 2 pieces are produced alike i.e. variations in color, design variations, factory abnormalities specks/flecks/glazed over spots/indentions, etc.  May be scuffing marks on bottoms from movement, storage, or display or utensil marks.  It is also very common with stoneware of this age to see stone pops, chips, hairlines, staining etc. So understand these details and your expectations before purchasing.

o    Sometimes I sell for friends, relatives, & neighbors that do not use ebay.

o    Items are maintained in a smoke-free & pet-free environment.

o    Items sometimes dishwasher cycled, hand-washed, or wiped clean, but possible for me to miss areas.  I will leave the finer details to you. Sometimes excessive cleaning especially with certain products will do more harm than good.

o    Please note & adhere to safety:  Some packages may contain very small pieces & packaging material that may be harmful to very small children, i.e. choking hazard, suffocating, etc.

PAYMENT/PACKAGING/HANDLING/SHIPPING

o    Prompt Payment, please WHENEVER OUR ENTIRE TRANSACTION IS COMPLETED.

o    Ship out usually 24-48 hours of cleared payment &/or response to questions IF YOU HAVE NOT ASKED ME TO WAIT FOR YOU TO PURCHASE ANOTHER ITEM.  Will email you if different.

o    I have no control over carrier delivery schedule.

o    In order to participate in the recycling effort, generally use all types of boxes.  Item factory boxes do not have enough space for additional packing material and are not strong so most of the time are packed within the outside mailing box.

o    Items are packaged to insure security of the purchased items & I try to closely adhere to USPS/UPS packaging & packaging material regulations/specifications. I sometimes insert free gifts as long as the gift does not move the pkg. into the next pound.

CONTACT, FEEDBACK, RETURNS, ITEMS BROKEN OR LOST BY CARRIERS

o    Please e-mail me with any questions prior to bidding, requests, or issues thru ebay mail --not thru feedback.

o    If you do not have any issues, I would appreciate positive feedback.  When you leave feedback, it lets me know that the transaction is complete & I will leave feedback for you.

o    I would like to try to maintain 100% feedback.

o    I always hope that the buyer is satisfied, but ebay requires that sellers state a return policy.  Returns and contact regarding return within 7 days only if description is grossly inaccurate.

o    My goal is for you to get items that you spent time on purchasing as safely & as quickly as possible without having to spend time wondering why your items have not shipped, initiating buyer/seller non-issue/issue contacts, responding to ebay & carrier cases/claims, etc.

o    I strive to package to eliminate broken items during shipment, but please contact me before leaving feedback if this occurs.

o    I obtain tracking, (UPS provides) but if item is lost, please contact me & we will follow the necessary procedures to insure that you are refunded.

Etsy-Fied

After my run-in last December with the doll crazy, I abandoned my Etsy shop.

I felt annoyed that I got burned, and annoyed that my only response from Etsy was to "contact the buyer" frig that. She's obviously got a stick up her arse about something and I am not dealing with that. So I left them sitting on ice for a month and dilly-dallied paying my bill to stick it to them.

It was petty, but then, so was the feedback I was left.

Today, I took a good look at my listings there and examined what has sold, and what I actually like dealing with. Thinking of shitcanning the doll aspect totally. I am fed up with crazies.

Narrowed my product line down to sewing related goods, antique china, a few vintage toys, hats, purses, gloves. I also like all things french, it's in my blood, what can I say?

I enjoy these things, and don't mind dealing with them. They are mostly low-end or hard sales, so I can afford to have them sit for awhile before selling but I also have the added assurance that my armoire can be emptied out slowly over time because I will finally be doing something about it.

So, over the course of the next few days, I am going to start my revamp, a few things at a time. I am also going to move my shipping time out from 1-2 days to 2-3, to give me time to track down an item that may have gotten moved. I am also going to add the shipping cost to smalls and offer free shipping. I feel like this is a good start point.

Comeuppance

Finally! Finally, my blocked bidders list has paid off. I got this message the other day about a doll I am selling for my friend:

Hi

Do the items have a smokey moldy or strange smell?
Does the doll have any missing fingers or toes? green ears? missing hair plugs? deep scratches? body stains? swingy limbs? Neck splits? facial defects? Thanks
Do the clothes have any stains or tears? missing snaps? holes? etc. Are they marked Tressy?
Are the shoes marked Japan?

Thanks
All red flags hoisted on this one. The username looked very familiar to me, and so I checked my ever-growing blocked bidder list and sure enough she was on it. I could not figure out for the life of me what it had been about, but assumed (correctly) that she had bought some of John's barbie clothes off of me. I didn't answer her questions, but I did edit the description of the doll. Today I get this:

Hi

Why are you blocking my bids?

Thanks

I go into feedback and see her name attached to some feedback for....drumroll please...one of John's Barbie outfits. I recall her then. (This is an excerpt from "Hot Live Euro Trash", January 22, 2015)
Hi

I received your package
today and I am disappointed.
The dress is very worn at
the bust and is not as blue
as your picture.
Also the other shoe is marked
Hong Kong. This means that
It does not go with this .
I Bought this because I
thought it was a complete
set. ( I had an extra correct
black shoe). I now have to
purchase a pair of black
shoes. I can not return this
because I bought it for my
daughter's upcoming birthday. ( This Wednesday)

Please advise.

Total BS. The dress I sent was nearly mint. Dark blue with no holes. I did not examine the shoes closely enought to see country of origin, because at that time I did not know how anal retentive Barbie collectors are about that stuff. I also was quite in love with the "I cannot return this" schtick. (She paid $9.50 with shipping being free - so she in actuality paid about $6.50 for the outfit - I refunded the whole thing so she would just fuck off, then blocked her)

So I wrote a reply:
The barbie outfits I sell, I do on consignment for a friend. They are not mine. He buys cases crammed full of clothes.

I do some research to see what color/pieces goes with what outfit. I check for flaws and holes. That is all. I am not a collector. I do the best I can as a non-collector of these items. I had no idea about markings on shoes or anything like that. All I knew was that I had a pile of shoes and this or that outfit came with that particular color.

As I recall, you bought one of those barbie outfits some time ago and complained about it. Something about one shoe being marked Hong Kong and you wanted a refund. I asked you to return it, you said you would not. I refunded you anyway. I was not going to short my friend, so I lost money on that outfit. When things like that happen, I will block the buyer to prevent such a thing happening again.
Straight to the point, and truthful. If she tries to circumvent the system, or pulls any stunts I will come down on her like a pile of bricks. I will report her ass. Now I've got to keep an eye out for 0 feedback bidders for the next 12 hours...fun.

Her reply (and I find it amusing that she thinks herself an excellent buyer, I am sure the sellers she has burned would disagree heartily):

I am an excellent ebay buyer.
Sometimes a seller makes a
Mistake in the description.
As a buyer I don't buy items to
Return them. My purchases are
Gifts for my daugther so It hard
To return. Usually a seller works
with me by issuing a partial
Refund to replace the misrepresented
item.

Have a nice day.

Yes, "excellent buyer" you count on some poor schmuck making a mistake in their description so that you can get freebies and discounts. "Hard to return"? How so? You can't return it and buy the so-called "correct" item from someone else before showing it to your probably fictional "daugther"?

Instead you'd rather take money from my family, and my friend and his family because it might inconvenience you to pop something into an envelope and return it (on MY dime anyway). Seems fair to me. It amazes me how far someone can shove their head up their asshole sometimes.

Payne In The Ass

I sold a playset. Said playset was made of masonite. After he bid on  the damned thing, the high bidder sends this message:

does the Masonite floor have all corners intact and not broke up?

He did not pay until I sent him a message confirming that it was not "broke up".

The other two deadbeat assholes from earlier this week still predictably haven't paid. They've been added to the ever-growing blocked list. I really wish you could send a bill via paypal for all the time these idiots waste. I have ZERO patience for this kind of shit.

Winners!

Got me a couple of winners this week again. They seem to come in batches. One bid on some heavy expensive candle holders. He hasn't paid. UPI is about to launch.

This other asshole begs me to put a buy-it-now on an item. I tell him I have other people interested, not going to happen. He bids. Today I get a message from him with a day and a half left on the auction:

Hi There! I am considering to buy this toy, I'll get back to you if I would like to buy it. Thx

Um...seeing as you've bid, and are the high fucking bidder, you'd better bet you're going to buy it or your 0 feedback account will immediately have an unpaid strike on it. I am thisclose to cancelling his bid and blocking him, or just blocking him and hoping someone else outbids his ass.

Northern Exposure/ Ghost in the Machine

Another Etsy "Ghost buyer".

Said potential buyers ask questions about an item, ask you to drop the price, sometimes ask you to put said item on hold, then they disappear, never to be heard from again. This one asked about some prints I have for sale. She asked if the signatures were dotted.

The signature on each is a different size and in different locations, if they were printed on, they would generally be identical and in the same locale. Two are on the lower left and are large, one is small and on the lower right, they are not identical.

I added though, that the glass on the frames, and paper they are printed on is textured, giving them a bumpy appearance when you look at them. I am sure this lone piece of info will deter her. I already have them listed at half of what I would really want for them, which is about what an unsigned one would be going for.

Etsy has been going to the dogs lately. It is getting worse than ebay, and the shitty once or twice a month $10 sales are not worth the trouble.

I am tired of negotiating, putting shit on hold, and getting burned over and over. I saw that ecommercebytes had an article that focused on Etsy getting a lot of Google exposure as of late. I think that as more asshole buyers jump ship from ebay, the more they seem to defect to Etsy.

The bitch I gave the refund to was Exhibit A.

Even an ebay buyer will usually go away quietly once you refund them in full. I could have photographed my son's hospital bracelet as evidence of why my communication was "slow", told her "the fucker wasn't scanned - not my fault, I mailed it, and too bad!" and went on with my life, but NOOOO. I had to go taking the high road, lost some money, and instead of being happy she got her money back, the bitch decided to trash my feedback instead.

Some People Are Never Happy No Matter What

This may well become my new mantra in resale. I sold a stupid doll (of course, a doll loony) on Etsy. It was the week before Christmas, so I was right in the thick of Christmas BS. I noticed the sale a few days after it happened, and notified her that I would be sending it that weekend.

Meanwhile, my son gets the flu and an ear infection. I spend a day at the doctor's, and Christmas Eve at the ER because of his reaction to the antibiotics. I spent half of Christmas day at the only pharmacy that was open 11 miles away, where I had to pay out-of-pocket for the meds after waiting two hours because they could not reconcile the birthday on their records with the ones the insurance company had.

I never had time to message her. I also didn't bother to check the tracking either, because, really, when your kid is sick and you have no fucking internet capable phone, you generally don't give a fuck about a $10 Etsy transaction, sorry. The doll was never scanned in and I told her that this has happened before with Etsy items. It NEVER happens with Ebay items, ever. The way those labels print out make them hard to scan at times, postal workers love that, believe me.

I refunded her in full, including shipping. This was my 1 star feedback:

The item was ordered and never received. Communication was slow & seller stated she has had similar issues of "sending" items and them not being received by customers. A refund was provided by seller. Not reliable service.

I have half a mind to send her pictures of my son's hospital bracelet and tell her "Here's the fucking excuse you want for my "slow" communication"

And as for the other two packages she mentions, I sent a message to each of the people once the item landed back on my porch a month after I sent them, asking them if they wanted a refund or me to send it to the CORRECT address. They never responded, and both items are still here, sealed in their original shipping boxes, stamped "No Such Number" and "Return to Sender" because the addresses provided were wrong. One's been here for a year. I feel weird reselling it, because someone bought it!

I'd like to know how are these things my fault?

What cracks me up is that she is apparently on a mission to damage my reputation, why? She's out exactly NOTHING. I am out merchandise and the money I paid for the label!

Return Trip

Whenever an item causes a problem, however minute, I know it is going to be a problem sale, even if the original pest was blocked and did not bid.

This clock is going the way of a soft sculpture Cabbage Patch doll I sold last year...nothing but headaches since I listed it.

First, there were the idiot questions, the blocking, the re-listing, the stalking from a blocked idiot.

Now an entirely different person wins the fucking thing and "The chime is broken, and the movement won't run" Whatever shall we do? When they ask for "suggestions" I know they are hoping for a partial refund, and since it will only cost me $5 to return ship that badboy, you bet your sweet ass I want the fucker back.

Sure. I shot off a message to return the fucking thing, but not before reiterating that the movement did in fact run when it left my doorstep. I will refund you upon receipt of item, can you print a label or shall I mail it etc etc?

If the clock truly is "broken" she should not have any qualms about returning it.

Update 1/16/16: I haven't heard from her since offering a return shipping label. Typical. I find that demanding the item back scares away some potential "partial refund" people who received the item as advertised but try to get a discount.
